Associate of Science Degree

Associate of Science Degree is for students who plan to complete the first two years of a bachelor’s degree at Central 社区 College (CCC) before transferring to a four-year college or university. CCC works closely with other colleges to facilitate the acceptance of credits. As a result, our students may transfer up to 66 credit hours. 的 Associate of Science degree requires 60 semester hours of credit. Most transfer institutions will not accept grades below a “C” for transfer. 学生 are encouraged to meet with their advisor to determine a program of transfer courses which meet the receiving institution’s requirements.

Know your transfer plans

Make the most of your time at CCC by researching your future school or program.

You will want to know the following before you transfer:

  • Meet with your adviser to learn how your courses will transfer and apply to your program.
  • Which courses and prerequisite courses you can take at CCC.
  • How many credit hours you can transfer into the program.
  • Be mindful of admissions requirements (which could include program specific requirements), application deadlines, fees and enrollment deposits for your future school.
  • 的 tuition and fees at your future school and the available financial assistance and scholarships.
  • On-campus resources and services available for transfer students.

Making Changes to your schedule

学生 have the ability to make changes to their course schedule, which includes adding and/or 下降 classes by the deadlines posted on the college calendar. Registration deadlines will be dependent on the course length. 之前添加, 下降, or withdrawing from a CCC course, students are highly encouraged to consult with their academic advisor and financial aid about options.

You should meet with your academic advisor each semester before registering – especially if you have changed your major or transfer school immediately. Review college catalog dates for Fall, Spring, and Summer Registration dates.
